Nejisuke Metaruhando's Techniques Empty Nejisuke Metaruhando's Techniques

Post by Nejisuke December 11th 2008, 6:33 pm

Abilities
Name
:
Metal Manipulation
Effect: This is was the ability of the Metaruhando clan(with Nejisuke's personal advancement) that allows Nejisuke Metaruhando to do the majority of his techniques. Nejisuke can sense and freely control metal, he can change the shape of it and move it around. He can change what type any metal is to another type, change the metal from liquid to solid or vice versa, and can control the charge of the metal. He can also strengthen or weaken any metal. He performs all of this on an atomic level, weakening or strengthening bonds, switching around protons, neutrons, or electrons, or even causing the atoms to move more and be less dense; he can do all this to attain his desired results. This allows him to form things out of metal, whether it be a defensive wall, a chain, a blade, or something completely different.
Activation Requirement: It is always in effect, but when something that would require a defensive dice is used(such as forming a wall) it will require a cost(and dice).
Cost: 50 tsukara when a cost is required

Name: Metal Landscape
Effect: Nejisuke Metaruhando will bend down and spread out his hands over the ground and the metals within the ground will rise up to coat it about an inch thick. Nejisuke can change the landscape by forming new things on top of the metal landscape. One of his favorites is a bamboo forest and he is also famous for doing mazes. A bonus due to this metal landscape is that since the metal is now on top, he can access his metals for attacks quicker. This makes the dice roll of any attacks or defenses using the metal element to go up by 2 because they can be utilized quicker.
Activation Requirement: Cost
Cost:
250 Tsukara

Name:
Flood
Effect: This only works after physical attacks have hit a defense set up by Nejisuke Metaruhando. The defense has to be made of metal. As soon as the attack hits, the metal will start to flood back upon the attacker in retaliation for attacking it's master. It will spike out and stab at the attacker, whether the attack on Nejisuke was successful or not. It will deal 150 Damage. A dice will be rolled, but no tsukara will be subtracted and the dice won't be one of the 2 that can be used per post.
Activation Requirement: A metal defensive attempt by Nejisuke and a physical attack by someone else
Cost: NA

Name
:
Metalic Aversion/Blaze Aversion
Effect: This is a reduction to opponent's counterattacks. Any of Nejisuke Metaruhando's metal attacks that are countered back at him that are successful will have their power reduced by half, due to Nejisuke melting as much of the attack that he can as they travel towards him. Any of Nejisuke Metaruhando's fire attacks that are countered back at him that are successful will have 100 less power, and 100 tsukara will be returned to Nejisuke, as he will try to absorb as much of the energy of the attack as possible.
Activation Requirement: The success of any counterattack of Nejisuke's metal or fire attacks back at him.
Cost:
NA

Techniques

NINJA

Metal Element:

Name:
Kunai Maneuver A
Range: between mid-ranged and far.
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: 300
Tsukara Value: 150
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: Offensive
Description: This is a common technique among the people of the Metaruhando clan. Nejisuke will form around 25, 6 inch long kunai beneath the targeted opponent. He will then perform a cue of some sort(usually a gesture with his hands), and the kunai will launch themselves up from below at the opponent. Due to the surprise that this attack usually has on opponents, the first time it is performed in a fight, the opponent's dice roll in response to this attack will be 2 less. Also, this technique can not be counterattacked due to the position that it comes
from.

Name:
Kunai Maneuver B
Range: Mid-Ranged to Far
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: 400
Tsukara Value: 200
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: Offenisve
Description: This is a difficult to master, but still common technique among the people of the Metaruhando clan. To perform this, Nejisuke will raise raise extremely small flecks of metal into the air that are invisible to even the most trained of eyes. He will then form about 300, 6 inch long kunai, totally surrounding his opponent from all sides with about 5 ft of space between the opponent and the kunai. Nejisuke will signal and the kunai will surge in to stab at the target. Since the target is completely surrounded, this can not be evaded and any counterattack roll goes down by 1.

Name:
Kunai Maneuver C
Range: Mid-ranged to Far
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power:500
Tsukara Value: 250
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: Offensive
Description: This is a technique that was made by the Metaruhando clan, but was rarely seen and extremely hard to master to the fullest. To perform this Nejisuke will jam his hands into the ground and then raise metal up to his hands. He will then pull his hands up, only now he is holding the large ringed end of a 6 foot long, 2ft in width(at the thickest point) and 6 inches in thickness(at the thickest point). He will then spin around once with it and release it. This has a huge force behind it, and travels very quickly. Because of it's power, all defenses are cut down before it, and no defense will work against it or reduce it's power because Nejisuke can constantly put power behind it through metal control. It also reduces counterattacks roll by 1 and evasion by 1 due to speed.

Name:
Acme Hammer
Range: mid-ranged
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: 400
Tsukara Value: 300
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: Offensive
Description: Nejisuke will form a large metal hammer about half the size of a person underground, then make it flip out of the ground and hit a person on top of their head as hard as possible. If it is successful and the dice roll is 8 or higher(the 8 being the final result after any changes), then the person will be knocked out for their next post. They won't be able to defended, evade, or do anything else. If Nejisuke wishes it allows him to escape from a fight while they are unconscious, leaving them to wake up, wondering where he is.

Name:
Impalement
Range: Close to Far
Dice Usage: Attack
Attack Power: 600
Tsukara Value: 275
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: NA
Description: This is one of Nejisuke's simplest, most versatile, and strongest metal attacks he will have large metal spikes come out of the ground, out of walls, etc. to stab the opponent. Why is it so strong? Have you ever had a metal spike rammed through you? It hurts. The spikes are always very sharp, but usually vary in width from 3-6 inches at the base of the spike.

Fire Element:

Name:
Fire Star of the Eclipse
Range: close
Dice Usage: Attack
Attack Power: 600
Tsukara Value: 275
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: FIRE
Benefit: NA
Description: Nejisuke will form a perfect cone of black and red flame around his fist. He will then run at the opponent and attempt to stab them with it. The flaming cone burns extremely hot, and will melt through most things and will explode on the point of impact, leaving burns all around the area of impact. A perk to this move is that if the opponent evades instead of blocking or counterattacking, then Nejisuke can absorb the cone of flame back into his body so as to conserve tsukara. He will regain half of the tsukara used to execute the move if it is evaded.

Name:
Hearth Vortex
Range: mid-ranged to far
Dice Usage: Attack
Attack Power: 400
Tsukara Value: 175
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: Fire
Benefit: NA
Description: Nejisuke brings a hand up obove his head, then bring it down violently. This is the signal that is followed by a pillar of swirling red flame that decends from the sky to smite the opponent. It travels quickly, and is pretty strong. He usually uses this attack along with Kunai Maneuver A as a combo. The vortex leaves burns in most areas on the target's body.

Name: Firey Touch
Range: close
Dice Usage: special
Attack Power: +100 to all attacks
Tsukara Value: 300
Warrior Affinity: Ninja
Elemental Affinity: Fire
Benefit: offenive
Description: Nejisuke hands and any object he is holding or has held will be covered in flaring red flames as well. To any fire attack it will boost it's power by adding more fire energy to it. This can be maintained for 5 posts, until Nejisuke's hands can't take the heat on his skin any longer and will cancel the flames out until he decides to use the technique later perhaps, but there has to be a gap of at least 2 posts between the times that he uses it.

Nejisuke Metaruhando's Techniques Empty Re: Nejisuke Metaruhando's Techniques

Post by Jisenki December 14th 2008, 5:28 pm

For Metal Landscape, I would suggest a higher Tsukara Cost. The first sentence of Flood is a bit difficult to understand although I think I understand what you mean. As for the ability itself, I think more clarity is required. Does it always work whenever an attack is used? Can it be dodged? Is it activated when you use a defense dice or whenever the opponent attacks, period? Think about these questions and try to answer them when editing your abilities.

Now onto the techniques. I'll just put this out here for anyone that makes techniques: Whenever you have an escape technique, most likely it will not be approved unless you have a decent Escape cost. Escapes are used as a last resort generally and they are difficult to pull off since you need to drain a lot of Tsukara and your Escape Roll must be at a certain roll in order for it to be successful. For Metal Transportation, don't forget your slots. You can't use an item or weapon if your slots don't permit it (meaning you need free slots depending on the amount of items that you are using). Also, evade can be higher than that. At least 60 Tsukara. The Molten Clones....since they allow you to use a dice for each one, Tsukara must be taken from you for each action performed. With this in mind, the amount used would be something like this (200+ Tsukara used for nejisuke+ Tsukara used for M.Clone 1+ Tsukara used for M.Clone 2= Total Amount of Tsukara used during that turn).

Since Kunai Manuever A has other effects besides a simple attack, a Special Dice would be used instead of an average Attack Dice. The same goes for version B and 3 of the Kunai Manuever.

Nejisuke Metaruhando's Techniques Empty Re: Nejisuke Metaruhando's Techniques

Post by Nejisuke December 18th 2008, 9:28 pm

ALCHEMIST

Name:
Metal Transportation
Range: Far
Dice Usage: Evade, Escape
Attack Power: NA
Tsukara Value: 50 for evade, 300 for escape
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: NA
Description: This allows Nejisuke to transport himself through metal to other metal elsewhere. Nejisuke will appear to sink into the metal, and then sink out of the other piece(the speed of this can vary). Nejisuke can also transport items if he his touching the metal that the item is touching. Nejisuke can also transport people, but only if they are willing to do it. It is too hard to do it if the person is resisting. This technique works by breaking the atoms down temporarily and sending them through space from one place to another. Nejisuke needs the help of metal to do this because he is extremely familiar with it's atomic structure and makes it easier to concentrate on taking apart other atoms and putting them back together. He also needs it because he can sense metal, and it acts as a guide to help him know where to transport himself to. He can also remain inside metal for a while(about 10 minutes), but he risks being traped inside permanently if he stays longer, and whatever damage happens to the metal, happens to him since his atoms are mixed in. It can confuse opponents as to where he is though.

Name:
Molten Clones
Range: NA
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: NA
Tsukara Value: 200
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: Supplementary
Description: Nejisuke Metaruhando can form clones of himself made out of metal. In the past, they lacked color, but now edit the structure of the metal to look, feel, and even smell like him. The only real way to tell the difference between him and a clone is that the clones don't have a heartbeat and will reform when struck. It takes over 350 damage to kill a clone, and it has to be done in one hit. The advantage of a clone, is that it gives Nejisuke access to one more dice for every clone on the field. He can only have 2 clones out at a time. Any tsukara used by the clones will be subtracted from Nejisuke's.

Name:
Pentacle Alchemy
Range: close
Dice Usage: special
Attack Power: Weapons-350 Creatures-500 Golem-600
Tsukara Value: Weapons(up to 3 at a time), Supplies, etc-200 Creatures-500 Golem-600
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: NA
Benefit: Supplementary
Description: Nejisuke will make an alchemy pentacle/circle(whatever you want to call it) out of either chalk, metal, or whatever materials he can manage. Nejisuke has a vast knowledge of different pentacles. He will then press his hands on it and will transmute, weaken, or strengthen whatever is within the pentacle, including the surface the pentacle is on in some cases. The largest Nejisuke can make a pentacle and transmute all that is inside is currently limited to the average house size. He does have an advantage over regular alchemists, in that he works deeper than atoms, he is currently able to move around protons, neutrons, and electrons as well. Nejisuke usually uses pentacles for supplies mainly, but he can also use them for making weapons, creatures, golems, etc.
Golem Appearance

Name:
Fire Alchemy
Range: Close to Far
Dice Usage: Attack
Attack Power: 400
Tsukara Value: 150
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: Fire
Benefit: NA
Description: Nejisuke requires a source of fire to start this technique, such as a fire already burning, an opponent's attack, or he can just form a small fire on a finger using his energy abilities, then save energy by just multiplying the fire through alchemy. Nejisuke will then just wave his hand in the direction he wants the fire to go, and the fire will multiply and stream into that direction. Nejisuke is very good with this alchemy, but not as good as he is with metal.

Name:
Alchemical Weakening Barrier
Range: close
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: NA
Tsukara Value: 400
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: NA
Benefit: Defenive
Description: Nejisuke will raise both of his hands above his head, then lower them to his sides. Then there will visibly be a swirling dome of blue energy about 20ft high, 20 ft wide(with nejisuke at the center). The dome will move with Nejisuke and will remain up for 5 posts. What this does is that any attack or counter that comes through the dome will have it's attack power reduced by... i can't really put this in words, so i'll try to make you get it this way... The dice roll of the special dice to originaly start the barrier is placed as the numerator
over 4.
ex: if you roll a 1 you would take off 1 fourth of the attack's power.
roll a 2, it takes away 2 fourths(1 half) of the attack's power.
roll a 3, it takes away 3 fourths of the attack's power.
Numbers past 4 will be repeated. Ex: 5=1 6=2 7=3

Name:
Life/Tsukara Transfer
Range: close
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: NA
Tsukara Value: However much is transfered from Nejisuke to the target. This goes for health too.
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: NA
Benefit: Supplementary
Description: The technique requires a penticle for use. Nejisuke will use life alchemy on someone to either heal or to revive someone who has fallen in battle(but not dead, just unconcious and out of HP). He will transfer his HP to them, to heal their wounds. The amount of HP that Nejisuke can transfer is indefinate, but it must come from himself so he can only transfer as much as he still has. He can also transfer his own tsukara to someone else using the penticle, and he can only transfer as much as he has.

Name: Pentacle Alchemy: Knife/Projectile
Range: mid-ranged to far
Dice Usage: Special, Attack
Attack Power: 500
Tsukara Value: Weapons-350 Creatures-500 Golem-600 Attack-250
Warrior Affinity:
Elemental Affinity:
Benefit: Supplementary
Description: This alchemy can be performed in two ways. Either a knife or other projectile can be thrown that has an alchemy pentacle on it, and on contact it changes the object, or on contact another pentacle can be touched and the transmutation will happen where the knife hit instead of within the pentacle. This attack can deal damage when one of the knives hit a person, and it will send an alchemical shock through the person's body, dealing massive damage. The projectiles can do anything that regular pentacle alchemy can, but on a smaller scale.

Name: Pentacle Alchemy: Alchemical Touch
Range: Close
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: 600
Tsukara Value: Weapons-350 Creatures-500 Golem-600 Attack-275
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: NA
Benefit: Supplementary, offensive
Description: Nejisuke Metaruhando has tattooed on the palms of each of his hands a very complex pentacle design, that can break down anything on contact if he wishes, and it can do all the other regular pentacle alchemy things, just on a smaller scale. Also, if he touches the body of an opponent, it will send an even more concentrated alchemical shock than the knives through the body of an opponent, usually leaving them mommentarily exausted due to the strain on their bodies. No defense can stand up to this attack due to the fact that it breaks down any substance, so defensive dice are innefective against this.

Name: Ultimate Escape
Range: NA
Dice Usage: Escape Dice
Attack Power: NA
Tsukara Value: 500Tsukara + all remaining health but 1.
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: Metal
Benefit: NA
Description: This is when Nejisuke Metaruhando really needs to escape a fight. This requires great concentration though. Nejisuke will cause a complex maze of metal to rise from the ground into the area obscuring the view of him from his opponent, then he will try to transport away through one of the walls of the maze. This can be difficult because of all the metal in the area he can get confused and just come right back into the fight(thus if it fails). If he has less than 1000HP when this technique is executed, then his dice roll will increase by 5.

Name: Heat Absorbtion
Range: NA
Dice Usage: Special
Attack Power: NA
Tsukara Value: NA
Warrior Affinity: Alchemist
Elemental Affinity: Fire
Benefit: Supplementary
Description: Nejisuke Metaruhando jabs his hand down into the ground and sends energy probes deep into the earth, and draws the energy from the heat of the earth to replenish his health by 400HP. Or he can replenish up to 500tsukara. It is his decision to make. This technique can only be performed 3 times per battle.

Heat absorbtion needs some penalty, otherwise you can just use it repeatedly in the midst of battle.
