The day was hot as the desert sun beamed upon Ayane, the traveling warrior. She had been fleeing for weeks since her last encounter with the rogue ninja that attempted to steal her scroll, but she managed to evade them, just barely making it out with her life. She realized that lately the struggle against the ninja was becoming more difficult due to their persistence. As she wandered in the barren desert, her mouth began to dry up and as she looked around, she realized that she was lost. She stopped for a moment and sat down in the sand while thinking of a way to find her way back. The quiet of the desert annoyed her and the sand frustrated her, keeping her from concentrating and focusing. She realized that she needed help.
