Free Lunch

[Hitomi]

The midday bell sounded as many students appeared to be departing from their classes. The majority of them appeared to be happy to leave classes. Some more than others. Hitomi was one of the "some". She was happy because one of her good friends Xexame had to buy her lunch since he made some comments about her during their previous class. She had planned to buy whatever she could eat. She wouldn't overdo it, but she would take advantage of this. In a way, it was a good thing that he talked about her since she remembered on the way there that she had left all of her money in her room. She didn't particularly enjoy the trip to and from the main school building.

[Xexame]

Xexame couldn't help but be dragged along with Hitomi. It was a gloomy time for Xexame, having to pay money out of his pocket. He figured that he would have to keep up with his forced agreement or else his face would be hurting soon. It had just started to feel better after those two punches to the cheeks. He made his way to a table for them to sit at. He even smiled a bit and pulled out a chair for her. He was trying to be sarcastic to an extent but in a way, he was also trying to be a little polite.

"So Hitomi. What is it that you want me to buy for you?"

Hitomi smiled for a moment and looked up as she thought to herself. She wanted it to be something that would cause him to spend a decent amount of money while not being too wasteful yet still being funny. "Um...I want a burger, french fries, a hot dog, and a large fountain drink with lemonade." SHe continued to grin at Xexame after giving him her order. She knew that he wouldn't want to spend so much money on something like that.
