Homeland: Zane originates from a land known as Caelestis, which, in the common tongue means, "Celestial Garden." It is a sacred land that is comprised mainly of fields of tall, pure white grass known as cloud plains, and several snowy mountain reaches. There are also many forests of white trees with golden leaves. The people of Xander's homeland are very in tune with a realm that they call the Phantasme, or the Phantom Realm, where spirits known as the Celesti or Angel sprits exist. These are spirits which command vast amounts of power, particularly over the elements of nature. Every 100 years a child is born within one of the noble houses with the ability to house one of these spirits within himself/herself, and thus gain their power and command over the element that the spirit controls. These people are called "Angellics." Xander is the current Angellic among his people.



Appearance:
Xander Serrim stands at a height of around 5'11", and weighs about 190 pounds, all of which is lean muscle. As an angellic,
He has several distinguishing traits that set him apart from normal humans. His eyes have no pupils, and are ice blue, which
causes them to seem to glow. In addition, his skin is very pale, almost totally white in appearance. However, he possesses great
strength; the gift that is granted all angellics. The angel wing sprouting from his shoulder only appears during battle, when
power of the "angel" spirit inside of him is manifested in physical form.

Personality: Since Xander houses a celesti spirit inside of himself, the name of which is Sancta, Xander expresses two personalities, which appear at random times. His own personality is very calm and shy. He is very quiet and somewhat antisocial, preferring to keep to himself most of the time. As a member of a noble house, while not spoiled, he is quite unaccustomed to conflict, and so tries to avoid it as much as possible. He does not often share his ideas or opinions with others, but will frequently act on them, making him seem random and unpredictable at times. His alter ego, Sancta, is much more forward. While he does not like conflict either, he is much quicker to accept it and act. He is not social, but is more open, sharing his ideas on things. He, like Xander, is generally quite quiet, and does not speak unless spoken to first. Xander enjoys speaking to Sylvia, training, and reading. There are not many things that Xander hates, with the acception of cruelty.

History/Character's Background Story: Twenty-one years ago, in the month of the Zeypher, a child was born to the noble house, Serrim, in the city of Dalien, which means fountain in the common tongue. Unlike most members of the noble houses, Xander, for that was what he was named, spent much of his time with the common people. Though his parents strongly disapproved, as soon as he could go out on his own, he would walk into the city, spending much time with the common people, who grew to love him dearly. His parents warned him that if he cavorted with the commoners, he might make attachments that could be difficult to reject when the time came for him to accept the responsibility of the angellic position, but he ignored them, making more and more frequent trips to the city. Soon, by the age of 15, it became apparent why. He had met a young woman in the city by the name of Sylvia. She and he had grown close, and began to spend more and more time together. Though he had to begin his angellic lessons at the age of 16, he found ways to get to her, falling more and more for this common girl. Between learning the ancient language of Telic and being prepared to take in a spirit, he snuck out to the city to see Sylvia. By the age of 20 Zane had already surpassed many before him in his studies, and had decided to ask Sylvia to marry him. However, the time now came for him to take in a celesti. He would be sent to the school known as Sentou Gakuin to hone his skills before he could return to his people and his home. The transformation went well, and just before he left, he and Sylvia agreed to marry when he returned in secret, away from the eyes of his family. She gave him a gift; a pendant called a Amon Pendant. This was not only a symbol of her love for him, but also a way for them to remain in contact. Through this pendant, they obtain a mental link, allowing them to speak to each other at will. He uses it very very frequently to this day, and so will often stop in the midst of an activity to speak to Sylvia. His goals are to become stronger so that he can fulfill his duties and to finish quickly so that he can return home to Sylvia.
