Missions, Expectations, and Requirements
Missions are the best way for a character or team to grow and enhance their strength as well as their teamwork. Missions are generally carried out in groups of 4, in which 3 people are the students and the 1 remaining person is the captain who is usually a Trainer and in some situations: a Tsurabi, or a Master. The mission outline is given, which has details on the accepted mission. In this outline, you generally know your objective and sometimes your enemy as well as a name at times and even information on a weapon, equipment, or elements they may have. You'll seldom be given an enemy or even an ally's technique description.
The layout of a mission varies depending on the rank of the mission. Lower level missions may require you to do some type of service for people, hunt for small nearly harmless things, or even a small puzzle in order to find out some type of information. Medium level missions may require some fighting against bandits or thieves, or even looking for some type of item, which doing so could become slightly dangerous and maybe life-threatening for less-advanced warriors. The highest ranked missions will generally involve leaving the school for days at a time for a multitude of reasons. It could even involve real-world (sentou Gakuin world) things such as hunting down Suzaku members or looking for information on a very dangerous criminal, all of which may or may not be life-threatening.
The leader of a team can choose whether or not they will participate in the mission and their reasons for doing so may be withheld.
During missions, battles may occur in which a person may be facing anywhere from a single enemy to multiple enemies and even creatures or other weapons or equipment that can cause damage. When battling, the person RPing as the opponent will have a small menu beneath that will show the HP, Tsukara, and any status conditions the enemies will have. Also, the names will be provided for each enemy if their names are known. If the names are not known, some type of name to identity them will be provided.
Remember that missions are not just virtual training. These are the real battles and if your HP reaches 0 or if you are afflicted with something like Petrification, it carries over until the next battle.
*Of course you can't do any actions when Petrified, but this is just used for explanation*
