Blake Domesticas (Incomplete)
Name: Blake Nihil
Gender: Male
Age: 43
Race: Human, Caucasian
Alliance: Suzaku
Homeland: Blake is from the nation of Voskvar, a powerful military nation. The main geographical area consists of plains and dryer climate, further west is more deserts and canyons while the eastern lands are forested and mountainous. He lived in the slums of the capital city as a child (located near the north and surrounded by sharp peaks and harrowing valleys). The living arrangements were mostly abandoned homes owned by wealthier people as they moved up in society. Pretty grimy and such, but still had the benefit of being within the city of Dacine's great walls. He lived in the castle of the King of Voskvar for the majority of his life past childhood. It is a sturdy palace with massive bleached stone structures, wide corridors, and majestic seats of power. The building is large enough to house soldier's halls, court houses, and complete government facilities. A place of significance for Blake is the Arx Sanctus, a foretress designed to serve as protection for voskvarians when under attack, think helm's deep but out in the middle of Voskvar's Ruinous Plains. Arx is indefinately in ruins, however.
Physical Description[Appearance]:
(I must admit, zelgius is a big inspiration for this guy appearance wise as well as just a character in general. The idea for Blake is purely mine and mine alone, but Zelgius is someone I molded my character after)
Blake is an average sized man for Voskvarians, being around 6 feet tall and having a warrior's build. His face is generally stern, his green eyes never waver with any sort of doubt or insecurity. His black hair is kept short and tidy, and to avoid falling on his face is pulled back a deal. Under stress it has a tendency to turn unkempt and fall forward. His eyebrows are dark and a little wider than normal eyebrows, they lack the sheen of his hair. His nose is average, bearing the sterness of the rest of his face and complementing his eyes by keeping people's focus at the midpoint of all three. He never smiles, but his grimmace shows his powerful teeth, which he gnashes when annoyed or angered. He wears simple black clothes over his body; it's the kind that is worn with armour, even when he doesn't wear armour, and he never takes off the leather padding he wears underneath the armour. Speaking of armour, His majestic armour, white plates, greaves, and gauntlets, are lined with black and possess the artistry and utility of a master craftsman. One problem with his armour, though, are the severe gashes covering the right shoulder, the left gauntlet, both greaves, and in the breast plate's case, smashed in two. He has the damaged armour tied together and it still can provide adequate protection. He carries a large double-edged sword on his backside and another blade, singled edged, resting sideways. He has many light scars from battles long ago, but the most distinctive brands are recent, no more than 2 years ago. The scars are large and match the damages shown on his mutilated armour.
Ranking:
Personality: Blake has lost alot, causing him to look at life somewhat pessimistically. He is, however, too wrapped up in his own drive to think that way often. He usually remains calm and quiet, can even appear to be wise. Blake is a steadfast individual who had alot of passion, talent, and perserverence. He seems fairly passive and loyal to those he trusts. While fighting, however, he's a merciless combatant to whomever his opponent may be. He has even shown a side of overwelming pride in the presence of victory. One thing is for certain, his confidence in his skills are second to none. With a part of that confidence, his pride, damaged beyond repair, he has begun to frequently show his angry side. He doesn't hesitate to kill anyone that stands in his quest for power, which he had grown to love. Despite all these things, he's been questioning his life and what he exactly wants. Does he really want power, or does he mearly want to have a peaceful life? He keeps fighting until he understands once and for all. Blake also believes in Karma, so he's careful not to act on impulse. He's mostly characterized by his actions...
Warrior Class: Swordsman
Sub-Class: Knight
Elemental Affinity: None
History/Background Story: Blake Domesticas was originally Blake Nihil, son of a failure of a business man and his alcoholic wife. His feelings towards his flawed parents were mixed, there were times where he truely felt like he hated them as most children have once felt. Oppertunity knocked at the door of greater things, however, and unusual circumstance put Blake under the attention of the King of Voskvar. He had gotten in a fight with the son of a government official and severely wounded the young man with a knife. Instead of sentencing him, the King saw that Blake had fighting potential, and offered to take him in as his own. Blake's parents offered him up w/o hesitation in hope of a better life for their son. He never thanked them for it, and took on the name Domesticas after his King and master.
He learned the way of the sword quickly, his skill was superb and his hard work progressed his physical ability at a frightening pace. In less than 10 years Blake possessed more skill than veteran soldiers, whom he would challenge and defeat on a regular basis. He became King Domesticas's greatest weapon. His lack of any ability in magic was nothing to the King, he saw Blake for who he was, a warrior in every way. Blake enjoyed the attention he gained, the promising career and the hope for a great future. His fame grew with every opponent he defeated, but his pride also grew with it. He combated a bounty hunter only a few years older than himself one day in the presence of the King and all the important nobles in the land. He spat upon the man as he lay in defeat, scorning his weakness in comparison. Blake Domesticas could not comprehend how this man would become an imporatant part of his future.
In time, he rose to become one of the Kings 3 top generals, the Phases, renouned for their ability to turn the tide of an entire battle with their presence. At the same time, strange events were occuring in the nation...corrupt province leaders and demon sitings. This seemed unrelated to him, however, and he ignored it for some time. What caught his attention, rather, was a woman. Known as the Waning Moon, the 3rd of the Phases, Artemis was strong and attractive. Blake had competition, however, regarding winning the affection of this classy beauty. The Waxing Moon, Actaeon proved to be a valiant opponent both in combat and in love (guess which one wins in which). As he prepared to propose to Artemis, Blake was asked to hold audience to a young man requesting an army. He was shy of the man's tale of a demon army on the rise, but an order from his King earned the man his army.
This was an oppertune time for Blake, he approached Artemis a few days later and proposed to her. She, however, insisted that her heart belonged to another. Needless to say Blake was not happy, and to top things off the man who had come for an army came back a hero. Why, he asked, it was his men who he had sent out to fight for the man, what had he done to deserve this fame? Noone else seemed to mind either, and the thought wounded him. The real kicker came when he found out who this man was. His name was Tempest, and his master was the man Blake had defeated so many years ago.
Things seemed to die down again, but his King told him of a grand plan. King Domesticas was planning on expanding the nation of Voskvar, in 12 years he would launch an attack on the neighboring nations of Bighorn, Ebony, and Kairos. Blake knew that with patience, his time would come. He would become ruler of this great Voskvar empire and he would pass it on to his children and his children's children (lol as if >_>). It seemed that this plan would not go unconfronted, however. Tempest returned to the King's hall having learned of this plan from his master (who is related to the king and a sharp knife). The words Tempest said there were crude and insulting. Blake refused to tolerate it and fought him. The victor was obvious, Blake was by far the superior swordsman. His victory did not come free; Tempest broke his sword and before he could enact revenge, was twarted by Tempest's master. They both escaped soon afterwards.
An alliance against the King was formed by 4 men. The next year, however, proved to be good fortune for Blake. He was able to root out and execute one of the usurpers himself before any course of action could be taken. Tempest left the nation of Voskvar, the Master and one other man went into hiding. After all that, nothing would stand in his path for domination. 10 years later, the opperation began. Blake led the war effort and personally took Bighorn. The enemy nations seemed prepared for war, but they were no match for the might of Voskvar. He was ordered to come back to the castle, where to his suprise he was given the highest honor in the nation (a sort of Medal of Honor) and was appointed as the Heir to the Throne. Things were finally going his way, and his swordsmanship was reaching it's prime.
The two men who went into hiding struck back, their attack on the castle was quick and relentless. Blake confronted and was able to hold off one man, but the magic of the man he battled was immense. Just as things started to turn sour, out of the Throne room came King Voskvar, carrying the head of Tempest's master. The King threatened the survivor's family, and he retreated without hesitation. Blake laughed, how pathetic their efforts were! After 15 years...and all they could do was die and run! Nothing could stop Blake and his King's growing empire. To further ensure their protection, their home force took refuge in their grand fortress, the Arx Sanctus. Noone could have forsaw the tragedy that was to occur.
Tempest returned, and by himself launched an attack on the Arx Sanctus. He defeated everyone, the Provincial leaders, Blake's top soldiers, the 3 Phases. Blake was at the peak of his ability, though. He wouldn't lose to this man. The battle was raging and intense, Blake could tell he had the upper hand though...suddenly it ended with a powerful swing of a weapon, the weapon of the 1st of the 4 usurpers that he himself killed. His armour and weapons were smashed but Blake kept trying to fight. Tempest put the man down by cutting the tendons in his limbs. Half an hour later, Tempest killed King Domesticas as well, and completely destroyed the Arx Sanctus. Blakes cursed everything, even God and Satan themselves as the fortress collapsed around him.
Blake Nihil Domesticas was thought to be dead, he traveled to a far away land in hopes of recovering from this devastating blow. He lost everything, that man took everything from him in one moment. Blake hated Tempest with every ounce of his being, and his thoughts were consumed with revenge. That would never come true for him, though, as he learned the next year that Tempest had died only a short while after he had destroyed the Arx Sanctus. Blake needed to conquer his emotions to move on, and as he started to recover physically, his feelings of hatred subsided into an ember that forever remained in his heart. Carrying two new weapons on his person, Blake Nihil sought out the infamous Suzaku organization. He would start back here and if he never rose back up to the position he once had, he didn't care. He hoped that his targets made their peace with God...because destruction was coming for them!

Where exactly does it say that, Vivian? I have looked, but I see nothing that tells us that Kisuke chooses his hunters. Voskar until further notice from Kisuke, or further proof from Vivain, you may apply through your Character Creation to be a Suzaku Hunter.

I checked and you're right... Go ahead, then. I thought that was Kisuke's choice, and you couldn't volunteer, but whatever. The job actually seems to suit Vivian's talents, but I think I'll just send kisuke a PM and tell him that if he needs another Hunter, Viv can fill the spot.
