Name: Akahime

Appearance: Kirihime's fans known as Akahime, are long red fans that measure at about a foot and a half. The fans for the most part look like average folding fans. When closed, they look like thin bars with red outlines and white on the inside. On the fans are a long red tassel that is about 3 feet long. These usually serve as ways for Kirihime to throw her fans at her opponents and pull them back before she loses them

Abilities:

Wind Slash-Kirihime uses her fans to create a powerful gust of wind that has the ability to slash through object that are generally softer than metal or wood. The wind can be seen and avoided since it looks like a light gray hurricane spiraling towards a specific target. The wind around the user and the target also picks up, making it fairly easy for the target to tell that they are being attacked.

History: No real history involved in this weapon. It was her weapon of choice from the weapons provided once she learned that she was a wind type user. Her fans have always been around and were crafted by her clan. She treasures them a lot and uses them in battle all of time, not only because she needs to use her techniques with them, but also because she takes pride in having this weapon and it reminds her of her clan.
