A drink of relaxation

Jacob Smith opens the walks through the door of the sake hut. He opens it in an inconspicuous manner, not barging through it, but not quietly opening it either. Few people in the hut turned to look at the wierd man with the sunglasses. Jacob walks up to a barside seat and sits down. Jacob raps his nuckles on the table. "Bartender!!" Roy walks out of a room in the back up to the counter. "What'll ya' be havin' mister?" "I'll take a pint of whatever the special of the day is. Make it quick, and i might pay extra." Jacob of course would never pay extra. You don't hunt people down for money and then give extra away. He probably wouldn't even pay for the drink if he could help it.

Light walked in wearing a grey hooded shirt. He had a plan that he wanted to put into effect after a while of deciding what he should do next. He found a table on the side of the Sake Hut, located in a corner. He faced the wall and sat there. He then pulled off his hood and revealed his face completely. While there, he placed his hands in front of his mouth and closed his eyes, becoming mesmerized in his own deep thoughts.

Damnit, I still can't believe that Kisuke was able to escape his death like that. I shouldn't have been so careless, leaving the Death Note in the open like that. I should have known that the leader of a group of criminals would find some way to get around my traps. And still, to have used one of the rules of the Death Note in such a way. I still can't believe it!! He wrote his name in the Death Note six times, each time mispelling his name. He did this to activate the rule that would make him immune if any of those six names were mispelled and written consecutively. Plus, since he isn't a borrower of the Death Note or the owner, the side effects don't effect him. This means that I can no longer make the attempt to hurt him with the Death Note because he rendered it useless against him. However, I can still find another way to get him killed. Sentou Gakuin. The warriors there will be the pawns that will allow me to finally kill Kisuke. Roy's Sake Hut, Moon, Sentou Gakuin. They will be all the help I need, well....I still need an ally.

Light thought about the members of Suzaku, focusing back to that meeting. He figured that he could find someone there that could aid him, whether they knew it or not.

Let me think, there was the one girl with the blue hair. Girls are always so easy to manipulate but I haven't seen her in some time now, and locating her might be difficult. There was that one person who arrived late. He would be more of a downside than an aid since he couldn't even arrive to a meeting on time. That leaves the blue haired male. I don't know much about him, but I guess I could learn more about him. After this plan works, I'll search for him.

Suddenly, a man nearby stood up and walked over to the counter where Roy was. He picked up a glass cup and smashed it against the wooden counter. He then stabbed himself in the hand and limped over to the walls, writing: Suzaku is coming. He then passed out directly afterwards. Another man, two seconds after the death of the previous man, wrote on a table: Kisuke=Leader, Suzaku=EVIL. A third man simply ran around the room, screaming at the top of his lungs until he stopped and collapsed on the ground. He had died of a heart attack.

Light smiled as he plans had worked perfectly. He wrote those names early on in his Death Note as well as the conditions of their death. He then ran over to the man that first collapsed. As he did, he was going to act like he had no idea what was happening. It wasn't true acting however, since he wouldn't give any clues to add suspicion.

"What happened to them all? Does anybody know how this could have happened?"

[Nejisuke]

Roy plopped down Jacob Smith's drink and went to a seat behind the counter and starts to shine a glass with a rag. Jacob is quietly relaxing in his seat enjoying his drink, when some freak walks up the counter, breaks a glass and stabs himself in the hand. what the heck? What is goin' on here? The wierd man writes the words: 'Suzaku is coming' on the wall, and then promptly dies. Another man scrawls the words: 'Suzaku=Evil' and 'Kisuke=Leader' on the table, and then also dies. Jacob commits all that is writen in both cases to memory. He does this out of habit, really he is quite freaked out right now. Finnaly another man starts to run around the room screaming at the top of his lungs, and then also promtly dies. Jacob notices a man run over the the first man who died. Jacob runs over to meet him. "I have no clue what happened. I wonder if there's anything i can do to help..." Jacob looks for any outward sign of injury, but he can't see anything. "I think they were killed from within..."

Light thinks in his head about this guy and wonders who he is and whether he has some kind powers like many of the others. He then pulls up a second thought in his mind. As he's checking the two men on the ground, another one reaches for his chest, gasps for a bit, and finally collapses on the ground near the entrance to the Sake Hut. He too died of a heart attack caused by Light's Death Note. Light, of course, forced himself to believe that he had no idea what had happened. Not that it would have mattered since no one would have any evidence even if they could tell he knew what happened. He stood up after this person died and moved towards the entrance of the Sake Hut.

"I think I know what's going on." He looked at the man that just talked to him recently. "There have been reports of people suddenly dying from unknown causes. The deaths all have something in common, and that's that they all died with no outer signs of pains or wounds. I need to go to Sentou Gakuin and report this."

Light began walking away, casually making his way towards the entrance. He had plans to go tell Sentou Gakuin what had happened and to ask for their aid and support.

[Zura]

Chrome arrived at Roy's Sake Hut with a shy look on her face. She walked quietly towards a man sitting at a table and asked in a very quiet voice. "Excuse me but have you seen this man?" Chrome showed the man a picture of Mukuro's face and the man replied to her. "Nope, can't say that I have. What is he your brother, since you two look alike?" Chrome said in a shy voice and pulled her hand back in front of her mouth and looked down on the ground. "No, just someone who helped me awhile ago. Sorry for wasting your time." Chrome began walking from table to table asking random people the same question with no results but Chrome was desperate to find Mukuro so for every person who walked in and out of Roy's Sake Hut, she asked the same question to them. She noticed three men laying dead on the ground but she didn't seem afraid of seeing them. As Light was walking toward the entrance of Roy's Sake Hut, she held the picture of Mukuro in front of Light and asked the same question as she did with the other people. "Excuse me sir, have you seen this man and if you have could you please tell me where you last saw him?" She waited for a reply with timid looking eyes because she didn't really trust strangers.

Light stopped and looked at the picture. It was a picture of that other Suzaku Elite that Light himself was looking for. What a coincidence that someone who looked very similar to him was in there searching for him. Light had two choices to make. He could lie and say no to her, or he could tell the truth to her and try to find him together. The question was: how would this work for him in the end? Light decided to tell the truth since he needed him too and he might be able to manipulate her along the way. He could lie and tell the truth.

"Actually, I'm looking for the same person too. Last time I saw him, he was near a school doing some kind of espionage. I was actually on my way to that school to find him. Can you help me?"

[Nejisuke]

Jacob walks around and checks the pulse of all the odd people that had walked in and colapsed. All the pulses had stopped, all were dead. Jacob stands up, walks over to the counter, grabs his drink, and chugs the rest of it down. he tosses a couple of bills on the table, and headed for the door. In his haste to get out of there he even payed the correct amount. He was superstitious, and although this didn't meet and superstitions he knew of, this was just so freaky he just had to get out of there. He barrels his way past the two people at the door and exits. He needed to find a quiet secluded place to think at. He also needed to learn of this Suzaku meantioned by those dead people. There was only one place to get good info. Jacob jumps into the air, and starts a tragectory aimed for the Sentou Gakuin campus.

[Zura]

Chrome looked up at Light with a suprised and happy look on her face when she heard that he had seen Mukuro and could possibly help her find him. She said to Light in a desperate tone "Did you really see him?! Can I please come with you to look for him?! Please!!" She leaned forward to Light with her hands folded, hoping that he would allow her to accompany him to look for Mukuro at the school he was talking about.

[Kisuke]

Light smiled. This was different from a devious smile but this was more of a compassionate smile. A type of smile you'd see on Light's face before his possession of the Death Note.

"Of course, I'll help you. This will make it easier for both of us."

Light began to walk out, his hands in his pocket and a small bag slung across his back. He was off towards Sentou Gakuin although he didn't really notice that the other man had already left. He didn't walk quickly since he was waiting for the girl to follow and join him.

[Zura]

Chrome had a bright look on her face when Light agreed to help her look for Mukuro. As Light began to leave Roy's Sake Hut, she ran right in back of him and began to walk along with him. As they began to walk, Chrome tapped Light's shoulder and asked him "Excuse me but could you please tell me your name?" After asking she put her head down and held her hands close to her chest and she said in a shy voice with a worried look on her face. "But if you don't want to tell me, that's okay."

Light continued walking, but turned his head around as he walked to face her. He had a warm smile on his face so that he would only give off a certain type of atmosphere, which was a good one and a trusting one. He chuckled a bit after hearing her question. He thought that it was a bit funny since she asked but then went on to say that he didn't have to say it if he didn't want to. He wasn't laughing in a hurtful way though, but merely a friendly way.

"No, its fine. I'll tell you my name. My name is Light Asahi. Now could you do me a favor and tell me your name? Its kind of hard talking to you and I can't address you by name."

Light chuckled again and his voice was a more cheerful one than usual. Light gave her an alias that he used a while in his past when he first started using the Death Note. He walked past Ryuk who was outside behind some bushes eating apples. Once he noticed Light, he flew towards him after placing the apples in his black feathers that was on his back. Light ignored Ryuk as Ryuk chuckled and laughed.

"So Light, is this a new girlfriend of yours. You sure are popular with the ladies. She's a bit younger than your usual dates, but whatever makes you happy, right?"

Light continued walking, waiting the girl's name. He would help her find the blue haired Suzaku member who she resembled so much. He would help her find Dream.

[Zura]

Chrome looked up at Light and smiled with a cheerful looking face. "My name is Chrome. Chrome Dokuro. Nice to meet you Light Asahi." Chrome still smiling, reached her hand out to Light to shake his hand. Chrome closed her eyes and thought "This man seems nice enough, I think I can truly trust him."

[Kisuke]

Light continued walking with her. He kept the name of Chrome Dokuro in his mind in case he needed it in the future. Somehow, he didn't think she would be a problem. Chrome seemed much too timid and shy to cause any true problems. Still, Light didn't like to exclude something that could turn out to be his demise. For this reason, he would keep the name in mind and use it.

"Chrome Dokuro huh? So Chrome, why are you looking for him anyway? I don't know if I said this or not, but you two look nearly identical. Are you his sister or something?"

[Zura]

When Light asked Chrome if she was Mukuro brother, Chrome looked down to the ground and blushed. Chrome grabbed onto her skirt and replied looking away from Light "No it's not like that, it's just that he gave me a reason to live and I am truly grateful that he did that for me, so I have decided to dedicate myself to him. I just thought that I should look for him because I thought he just might need me that's all..." After talking, Chrome closed here eyes tightly and her face turned red because she thought it was embarassing to talk about the person she has dedicated herself to with other people. Despite her shyness, Chrome continued to walk along with Light towards Sentou Gaukin.

Light nodded but didn't say anything aloud. He wondered what she meant by 'a reason to live'. Light continued walking with her, but every few minutes he would look around and try to see if he could see Mukuro somewhere. They were approaching the school, and he wanted to find him before he made it there. If he didn't though, it wouldn't hurt his plans too much.

[Zura]

As they continued to walk, Chrome suddenly opened her eyes widely and had a dead look on her face and fell down on all fours. A few seconds later, Chrome removed the eye patch that was on her right eye and laughed. Then she picked her head up and looked right at Light and on her right eye, there was a red colored pupil with the number 6 in kanji on it. Chrome stood up and began to talk to Light with a serious deep tone rather than her usual shy light tone ."So I see you've met Chrome, Light or should I say Suzaku Elite Codename, Moon. Don't worry Chrome isn't listening to any of this, she is inside sleeping. So now down to business for what reason would you need to search for me, how can I be assistance to whatever you are doing?" Mukuro had possessed Chrome to talk to Light because he didn't want to give away where his real body was. As Mukuro was talking he had a malevolent looking smile on the entire time.

[Kisuke]

Light was completely taken by surprise by this occurence. He had no idea what was going on right now. He was about to shout but he kept himself calm so that his emotions couldn't be traced. This was a tactic that Light has been using for years now. A skill that would allow him to deceive his enemies no matter how powerful they were. Light didn't respond for a second. He quickly thought about what to do and how to respond. Ryuk was laughing behind him, keeping himself amused by Light's current state.

That voice. It sounds so familiar although I can't decide who it is. I do know that I need her help and that she can lead me to the blue haired guy whose codename was Dream. Wait a minute. Is it possible that the blue haired person is Dream, or at least is being possessed by him. I have a hunch that the Suzaku Elite Dream might be capable of possession. If I am right, I should be very careful. I guess his powers would have to do with that eye wouldn't it? I'll have to avoid the eye and keep myself from looking into it. Unfortunately I have no other clues about what he could do and my assumption could prove to be wrong. I must be cautious and answer with a partial truth. I'll need to keep this guy on my side.

"Actually, my plan is to go to the school and tell a small amount of information about Suzaku. If you stick with me and help me out, you'll see the downfall of our Suzaku Leader Zero and together, we can take over Suzaku, Sentou Gakuin, and the world, ruling it with an iron fist. Whaddya say....Dream."

Light was taking a wild guess. There was a high chance that this person wasn't even him but he decided to fight against that chance.

[Zura]

After listening to what Light had said, Mukuro began to snicker but then he lifted his head and bust into laughter. A few seconds later, Mukuro calmed down and replied in a serious tone. "Kufufu, sounds fun. Fine I will help you with your plan but just to inform you, there are some people who know who I am towards the area you are walking to, so for now Chrome will be the one assisting you. And just to let you know, I can possess Chrome or any other of my subordinates at any time and whatever they know, I know too. If you need to tell me anything else, do it now because in the condition my real body is in I cannot remain in another person's body for long and wearing a skirt doesn't make me feel comfortable." As Mukuro was talking, he picked the eye patch that he removed when he possessed Chrome and put it on but he put the eye patch in a position that his right eye was still visible.

[Kisuke]

Light smiled. He seemed to have guessed correctly, which of course was a good thing. He now had someone that he could consider an ally and unlike himself, he could assume that his new ally had some skills that could be used at any time. Light had the Death Note, but he needed a name and person's face to actually hurt someone. This became a big weakness. He also had his Eterna Beast Moon, but even using him came with consequences if its bloodlust couldn't be satisfiied. Light did have some advice to give to Dream before his possession time was up.

"Actually, I do have something else to say. Prepare your real body soon. We may need to do some fighting although if my plan goes accordingly, that won't be necessary at all. Or at least not until the future."

Light turned around. He didn't walk away yet but he was waiting for Dream to relinquish possession of Chrome Dokuro back to her.

[Zura]

Mukuro smiled at Light and had his hand on his eye patch, ready to put it over his right eye and said with his eyes closed "Hehehe, I look forward to working with you in the future, but for now good bye." Right after Mukuro finished talking, he placed the eyepatch over his right eye amd Chrome's body fell on the ground. Seconds later, Chrome woke up and quickly got on her feet and started looking around her embarassed with her hands clenched and her arms close to her chest. "Oh no did I pass out again? I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

[Kisuke]

Light turned back around. His smile was back on his face and his voice had changed from its more evil sounding back to its more calm and peaceful. In the time that it took Dream to forfeit his possession back over to Chrome Dokuro, Light had already thought of a plan to include Chrome without hurting he and Dream's chance of being discovered. He extended a hand out to Chrome Dokuro.

This plan will be perfect. First, I'll convince Chrome to help me go to the academy. While she's there with me I'll have her wait in the background while I tell the others about Suzaku and what its doing, its plans, and its goals. However, I'll keep out key points while including others. I'll tell them about the remaining Eterna Beasts and explain that those are the only ones. I'll also exclude information about the chains and the masks. This should cause them to seek the Eterna Beasts out. I'll even give them a time when they should search for them. As I do this, I'll take into account how many members of the school I see around and try to survey the power and skill of those nearby. I'll deliver information I've learned to Kisuke and the rest of Suzaku and me and Dream will sit back while the rest of Suzaku and Sentou Gakuin fight each other in an attempt to capture the Eterna Beasts. There will have to be casualties of course, but that will be perfectly in accrodance with my plans. Those fools won't know what hit them. First, I must make my way to Sentou Gakuin under the name of Light Asahi.

He looked at Chrome Dokuro after she stood. "So, are you alright. You just suddenly passed out but you weren't out long. Your not hurt are you?"

Ryuk flew upside down behind Chrome Dokuro. He was grinning as usual and watching carefully at what was going on. He even noticed the possession of her by Dream to and he had just as much knowledge about Dream as Light did.

"Wow, this girl sure is a strange one huh Light? You know how to pick 'em don't you, or do you just somehow get stuck with 'em?" He finished his questions with a slight snicker at the end of the last one.

[Zura]

Chrome calmed down after waking up and straightened up her skirt and said in a relaxed voice "No I'm not hurt, but thank you for your concern." Chrome then began to walk down the path the two of them were taking, a few feet in front of Light then she turned back facing Light, leaned forward and said in a happy tone with her eyes closed and smiling "Well then shall we continue walking towards that school you were talking about?"
