How Teams Work...
Everyone has a teammate except for Masters,Trainers, Tsurabi, and the Head Warrior.Members from Yellow through Blue rankings will be assigned group members until there
is a maximum of 3 members. Elite members can have from 2-3 teammates and
can choose their own teammate. You may find your teammates by RPing, PMing, asking in random or requesting it be placed in the newsletter. Just PM me or any other mod once you confirm the team and its name and one of us set them up.
Teammmates are used when you go on missions or enter some events.
It would be necessary to learn how to get along with your teammates so
you aren't messing each other up in battle. For the most part, you will
be assigned teammates based on a form of equivalency. Your teammates
will balance out your skills and vice-versa. So if your a warrior with
good RPing skills and a good character you may be set up with someone
who has bad RPing skills and a character not as good as yours. It is possibleto have a good team though that has all-around good fighting abilities but lack somewhere like an element or a certain type of fighting style. Perhaps one member specializes in defense techniques while someone else uses only attack techniques and the third has only healing. The possibilities are infinite because of the different combinations.
Each team will have a team captain.
Yellow through Blue's captain will be a Master or Tsurabi ranked warrior that is chosen for them by the Head Warrior. If you are an Elite, you will have a Trainer as your captain and you are allowed to switch Trainers with another person, but this may affect your team and cause you to be in another team. Elite ranked members don't always have to have captains. However they must find someone on the team to be a leader. Yellow through Blue Ranked Warriors cannot switch the team they are on unless they reach the Elite ranking or receive permission from the Head Warrior.
Mission Performance may not always include the Captain.
If you are in the Blue Ranking or below and you accept a mission, your captain might not always be able to help you depending on the difficulty of the mission and what it requires. For example, a simple non-fighting mission won't require the captain but a fighting mission may. A captain may also choose to deny assisting his team on a mission if he thinks they need training or the mission doesn't require him/her.
Captains can teach elements and techniques to their team.
A captain is allowed to teach techniques and elements to the members of their team. However, the elements they teach must be known to the captain. The captain cannot teach elements that they themselves don't know. They are allowed to teach techniques that they don't know but they must PM Jisenki the technique using the template.
