Serio Katsuya (35 Years later)
Name: Serio Katsuya
~Nickname: Serio Seri-chan
Age: 51, may change with shapeshifting, though time has done her well.
Gender:female
Breed: Shapeshifter/ human. Half and half.
Alliance: None
Ranking: Elite
Warrior Class: Spell caster
~Sub-Class: Mage
Elemental Affinity: Lightning and Water
------------
Homeland: Original Sentou Gakuin. (Before the war)
Physical Description:
As Serio has grown with age, similar in looks, but her hair finally reached its natural color. Her hair is light purple color now, hip length, but layered. Since she started reseaching her history, Serio decided that she would follow more of their traditions. In their traditions, if women are single they wear a single braid on the left side of their head, with a golden bead at the end of it. Serio also wears many warm colors such as purple and darker red, along with black. Much of the jewelry she wears is from people she had met years ago while traveling such as gypsies. Her weapon is concealled within the robes she wears.
When she changes into an animal, her fur turns light purple and sometimes there are black or gray spots. And as another race, her hair and eye color stay the same, but everything else changes.
Personality: Serio is a very outgoing person, but sometimes can grow very depressed. Since things have changed so much, she doesn't believe in much happiness. She tries not to. Serio still loves meeting new people; animals; pizza; and chocolate. She absolutely dislikes judgemental people-still; the colors brown and off shades of green and yellow. She also doesn't care for sparring, but will if it's a required action. She's mostly good. There again, it depends on the current situations. Serio has many goals in this life yet, and is still very determined to meet them.

History/Background:
Before Time Skip:
Serio Katsuya was born, in an Akito hospital, to a great mother and a not-so-great father, and an older brother. The day Serio was born, her father was disappointed that she wasn't a boy. He did love her, but still treated her older brother better. Serio's eyes were what made her mother smile, even when she was sad. They were never sad, and never angry.
Three years later, Serio's older brother was about eight, and he was turning into a decent young man. Serio was playing at the top of the stairs that were across from her room. Her brother walked up the stairs, and sat with her and played. He never understood why she was always by herself, but he figured that it had something to do with her not being a boy, which he thought shouldn't matter.
Six years later, Serio's family was having a big party, in Yashima, for her brother's fourteenth birthday, and it seemed like everyone was invited, but Serio always felt left out of family events, so she decided that she wanted to find something worth her time. She went down near the Sea of Japan, and tried concentrating on the water. It started to move in circles. She had no idea of what was going on, so she decided to take it up with her grandmother. Later on that night, Serio left her house, and went to her grandmother's house. She had spoken to her grandmother, and her grandmother told her to keep working with the water.
Five years later, Serio had figured out another element that she could work with. Everytime there was a thunder storm, Serio always concentrated on the individual bolts of lightning, creating animal shapes with them. Then she struck a tree with the lightning, and managed to split it in half. Her eyes opened widely when she had done that. She spoke to her grandmother about that too, and she had said the same thing.
Two years later,Serio has been training with her skills. She has believed in herself since the day she started to learn these skills. She still wants to train, and thinks about all of the good times she's had. Serio still talks with her brother, but doesn't let him know about Sentou Gakuin. She's afraid that he might freak out on her.
After Time Skip:
After everything changed the way it had, Serio decided to travel the world looking for new people and places. Nothing was ever the same for her. She missed her friend, Bartimaeus. She was wondering what he was up to now. She really wished that she could see him again. But travelling was her life. Maybe one day she'd see him again. She met all sorts of people. Good, bad, ugly, freightening. She made a few friends here and there, but nothing worth anything, at least in her mind. Serio's life hadn't changed much. She figured both of her parents were dead, and her grandmother. Maybe her brother got married and settled down with a family. Serio wished she would have found someone that loved her like that.
At the current time, she went back to her home that was on the border of what used to be Sentou Gakuin. She wondered if anyone knew that was where she lived. Qute frankly she didn't care.
RP Sample:
Serio made her way home from a long trip across the north part of the world. Long, tiring, interesting. "What a wonderful trip. Never thought I'd meet so many nice people." Serio just wanted to be home for a while. She placed all her new knick knacks in her treasury room. But to get to it, she walked past Bartimaeus' room. She sighed. She missed him dearly. The pain was crushing her. She remembered the first time that she brought him here. He had no clue what a video tape was. Serio giggled at the memory. Nothing quite hurt that bad. Silently, Serio said, "I wish I knew where you were now, Bartimaeus." She said with a half smile. "Missing you is truly hard when I don't know where you are."
Silent tears ran down her face as she walked to the treasury. Opening the door, and waarm, homely draft sent shivers up Serio's spine. "Good to be home." She smiled. She felt her treasure was quite the glamorous thing. Never really thinking about how much she invested into all of this, Serio sat cross-leg in the middle of the room. Each piece had a memory, be it good or bad.
She picked up a particular piece. It was her brother's knife. Small, detailed metal sparkled in the light of the room. She remembered the night she left home.
"Serio, you have to promise me you might visit me one day. I am giving you this to keep you safe. Become a great warrior, then return to me. I don't want to lose my little sister. I'll always keep you in my heart, safe and locked away from our mother and father." Nothing hurt her more than that memory. She sobbed as she turned that knife over an over in her hand. She hadn't seen her brother in many, many years. Her thoughts made her realize that she never really wanted to see him.
In a way, she resented him. Full of hatred now, Serio threw the knife across the room.
"I can't believe I ever believed you. You never loved me as your sister, and if you did, you would have tried to find me!" Serio said, and stormed out of the room.
Out of her house she ran, and into the woods she wandered. It was dark, but she didn't care. Life as she knew it was pitifull. The cold started growing colder, and hundreds of little bumps raised up along Serio's skin. "Should have brought a coat." The darkness slowly became easier to see in. Serio found a nice sitting rock. Smooth and flat on top, big enough to sleep on. And as the sun went down, Serio became slowly more tired. She figured she'd be safe where she was, and she also case a spell to protect her, just in case. On the rock, she curled up in a ball, and began to nod off. To herself she sang a tune she remembered from her grandmother. "Young ladies always make the perfect women, as long as they are sweet to the boys." A saying Serio's grandmother always used. She giggled a little. Never thought she'd remember something so old. Serio fell asleep with a little smile on her face.

Re: Serio Katsuya (35 Years later)
Everything looks great except for the Homeland. While there is no problem with your character being from Japan or any part within, you have to explain where Japan is compared to some part of the forum just to make the place that much more tangible in this world.
