Other anime match ups

Alright, so I've been thinking about different anime and I've been wondering which characters would win in a fight. Earlier I saw a picture of Gaara [Naruto] vs. Toph [Avatar the Last Airbender] and tried to think about who would win. Very quickly, my result was Toph. My reasons: Toph can manipulate Earth, Sand, and Metal with no effort. Gaara can fly with his sand but his sand makes sounds and from the series, its become really obvious that Toph has a high sense of hearing (which makes sense). To be honest, I think Toph could just attack once and make the Sand armor of Gaara work against him. Better yet, she could probably just take control of the entire gourd before Gaara can use it. Plus, with Metal and Rock to help her, I don't think she'll have a problem piercing any sand that she can't control herself (which I think is none anyway).

So in my opinion, I think Toph would win pretty easily.
