Appearance: The Kanata is a rather common tool although it isn't commonly used by samurai or any type of expert swordsman for that matter. The reason for its lack of popularity lies within the blade itself. The blade is reversed compared to the grip which means that this weapon is unable to be used to slash enemies. This weapon is, not surprisingly, very cheap due to its manner of attacking. The plain silver blade is very dull making it only good for blunt strikes and for defending.
