Get rid of the dice!!!!
I know that I would come on way more, have stopped coming on in the past and only occasioanlyl come back and say I'll stay because Jisenki sends me generic emails telling me that i will have my account deleted if i don't get my ass back (Which has never happened), and for some reason i would get upset if this happened, or that If I want to remain a moderator then I'd better email him... I'm not... why send the generic email to everyone? (Though it has got be back once more, (in annoyance)*fear my double brackets* so i suppose it kinda worked.0
My personal interest would be maintained if we went back to good old fashioned way of roleplaying and things were left to the modesty and integrity of the individual to make them fun and fair. That is why people go on forums like this, it is tried and tested method. Need I quote the proverb... if it aint broken don't fix it.
I appreciate that the dice was something new and different and prolly seemed quite a logical idea... (it would have been if this were a board game or summin like DnD) But it has taken summin away from it.
This forum used to be really great because of the people that were on it and the idea was good, worthwhile and piqued peoples interest, but now... it seems a lot of hassle and instead of just enjoying my time here like i used to do... it's become like some... chore to come on, find out what's new, have to remake my character and everything, which is such a shame because really liked coming on here and I loved the people I met here... but now it seems rather cold and clinical... like it has lost something.
Anyway, i doubt jisenki will listen, this is just a slightly more emotional plea than the last one and he's made it quite clear that the dice are his version of online children so I am prolly wasting my time.
Anyway, looking forward to generic threatening email in, what? Say... 30 days time? That's about the usual.

I'm sure he'll listen, though he still might not change it lol. But of course we both could be wrong and he's also had a change of heart, though I'd doubt that too. But he's most likely gonna send that email

Re: This has been suggested before, but...
It is true. I did listen but I doubt that I'll be getting rid of the dice anytime soon. The thing isn't that most people want to get rid of the dice because as I recall, we did a vote in the past and more people wanted the dice. Also, I believe in the whole "if it isn't broken don't fix it" too, but what separates this forum from every other school forum, bleach forum, naruto forum, besides the original thought for some? The dice is one thing. personally, I don't think that the dice are the problem. Mostly, the problem is me and my faulty equipment. Some of the problem comes from inactive players. Some of it also comes from lack of effort. To be honest, I rarely see many members starting too many posts half of the time. Every so often there's the suzaku post about a plan that never happens, there's the Sentou gakuin meetings that talks about the few things that have happened that rarely lead to things, that happens, but nothing really comes from it. Before all of my equipment broke down and everything was destroyed or deleted I tried to make things a little more exciting. I made a new character that could virtually pop up anywhere for a fight or good RP. I asked personal friends on the forum to do whatever it takes to get a good battle. To name a few, Kisuke, artemishiu, and xexame. I asked kisuke to try a get some battles that might result in really wounded characters in hopes having players care more about their characters and use resources. I asked artemishiu and xexame to battle and eventually they made a guild with some others which led to a big fight, which may have actually caused a turn around on the forum, but from what I heard (because of equipment breaking) the big battle eventually went unfinished in part because of my lack of updates, others with broken computers, others with jobs, and the rest left bored because of only 3 members showing up that weren't even posting new things.
Also, keep in mind that I know some people like the old style of RPing. This is completely fine. What I never understood is why no one makes characters that are designed around not using the dice. The option has been there but no one uses it. i could be wrong, but i think that in the history of this forum, only two people have had non dice characters. I made Phantom, but I became bored with him because no one else had non-dice characters that he could RP with.
I think forum activity is the problem. That is my conclusion. Why do I think this? Well, when people come on and at least 6 people have been online everyday, I tend to see members join and continue to actually check out the forum, the majority actually RP. When only 3 come on, no new members show, and the few that did come when the forum had decent activity, leave. I can recall multiple new members that were enthusiastic about the dice and becoming mods, until less people came on. That's when they left.
these are some things I was going to cover in training. Just as a side note to add some extra words and maybe hint to some people, I never even understood why the forum became inactive. I can't speak for Suzaku, but Sentou Gakuin has a decent amount of missions, tsurabi, and even teams. If I'm not around to give missions (which should change too because I can't give everything and I don't want the same mods to do all of the work), there are still classes that mods can make, team leaders can make threads, there are still a lot of things that could be done that no one takes advantage of. Hopefully, if I ever get a laptop or working computer, I will come on more often and use all of my characters as much as possible and make as many updates as possible.

Re: This has been suggested before, but...
Sorry, I forgot about the e-mail thing. The e-mail is usually meant as a mass e-mail to inform people of the updates. Very rarely do I deleted members unless I think that they'll never come back ever. the subject is always Inactive because that's what the e-mail has by default. Its faster and easier to send the inactive e-mail with an altered message than it is to send 66 individual messages by copying and pasting and waiting about a minitute in between. It was only the most recent time that I sent actual messages because I only messaged the few moderators from before, minus Nejisuke of course. once training is complete, i'll send the inactivate message with the altered message again, unless an admin wants to send all of the messages, although I doubt they would want to go through all of that, and I wouldn't really ask a person to do something that I wouldn't want to do.

I do, but you do a lot already and I want other people to help so that one person isn't doing all of the work.
