How To RP On This Forum (Must Read)
If you haven't noticed yet, this forum uses a different form of RPing, which includes the use of HP, attack points for specific attacks, and dice. On this forum, your character will win or lose their battles based on the dice you use and how skillfully you use them.
Types of Dice
Although there is a different style of RPing, you must make sure that you don't forget the original way of RPing, which is expressing the actions of your characters and the things around them through typing. The dice feature simply modifies that gameplay and old style of RPing but the general concept is still the same.
To start RPing, someone will need to make a post to start things off. The first post won't include any dice but it will be an introduction. Only during the second post will a person be able to use the die and begin RPing.
Note: The option to roll a dice is only available if you click the Post Reply button. Using the Quick Reply box will not permit you to roll a dice.
Dice Chain Explained
Since I've explained what the dice are used for, I'll explain what each individual dice does and what situations they are used in.
Dice Effects
The basic method for battling isn't too difficult to comprehend. Each player uses a character that has their own sets of techniques, items, creatures, equipment, and weapons that will aid them. Players take turns rolling dice to perform different actions with their characters based on approved skills and other things that are equipped. Each character has Health Points and Tsukara (Skill Points). The first character to forfeit or have their Health Points reduced to 0 loses. Every turn, players try to reduce the opposing character's Health Points by using dice. For each action performed with a dice, Tsukara is required. Every character has different Tsukara and Health Points based on the character's level and ranking.
Types of Dice
- Spoiler:
To start, there are six types of dice that you can use in your battles
while at Sentou Gakuin. These six different types of dice are as
follows:- Attack Dice
- Defense Dice
- Evade Dice
- Escape Dice
- Counter Dice
- Special Dice
- Item Dice
- Attack Dice

Dice Chain Explained
- Spoiler:
- The dice follows a chain-like pattern, in which you are only able to use a specific dice after another dice is played.
Below is the chain with the dice on the left being the first dice and the second one being the dice used in response to the first:- Attack Dice->Counter Dice
- Attack Dice->Evade Dice
- Attack Dice->Defense Dice
- Defense Dice->Special Dice*
- Evade Dice->Special Dice*
- Counter Dice->Special Dice*
- Item Dice->Special Dice*
- Special Dice->Evade Dice
- Special Dice->Defense Dice
- Special Dice->Special Dice*
- Escape Dice->Special Dice*
*Due to the wide possible effects that a Special Dice can have, a Special Dice can be chained to any type of dice
-As you can see, you can use an Counter Dice in response to an Attack Dice, which as its name states, will allow you to counter an attack used against you if conditions are met.
-An Evade Dice can also be used in response to an Attack Dice. The Evade dice will allow your character to avoid damage from an incoming attack so long as the dice conditions are met.
-A Defense Dice can be used to defend and block an incoming Attack Dice or Special Dice that has Offensive Properties. Based on the attack used in response, it may be smarter to use an Evade dice or Defense dice specifically.
-An Evade dice can also be used in response to a Special Dice with Offensive properties, but be careful as not every Special technique is offensive. Some techniques are defensive and supplementary.
-A Defense Dice can be used in response to a Special Dice just like an evade dice can be used, but as mentioned earlier, use your dice wisely.
-Item Dice are different than the other dice mentioned as they don't directly have anything to do with a character. Item Dice can be used to Capture creatures, Summon creatures, Summon Special Items, or all Puppets to attack, making them much harder to use. Unlike the other dice, these dice don't fall under the rule that only 2 dice can be used. An Item Dice can be used as a 3rd Dice in the turn, making their usefulness and value high.
~~Note: Only two dice can be used per turn [under ordinary circumstances] ~~ - Attack Dice->Counter Dice
Since I've explained what the dice are used for, I'll explain what each individual dice does and what situations they are used in.
Dice Effects
- Spoiler:
- Attack Dice: Roll the dice and get a number in order to attack. If the number is higher than a Counter, Evade, or Defense dice your opponent might use next turn, then you are enabled to attack and the opponent's HP is decreased by the attack power of the attack you used. If no dice is rolled in response to your Attack Dice, the technique still inflicts damage.
Defense Dice: Roll the dice in response to an Attack or Special Dice with Offensive benefits. If the Defense dice is higher than the Attack or Special Dice your opponent previously used, you can defend the attack without your character taking any damage. You may be affected against some attacks but this may be more effective than evading an attack in some cases. Use this dice when the situation calls for it.
Evade Dice: Roll the dice in response to an Attack or Special Dice with Offensive benefits. If the Evade dice is higher than the Attack or Special Dice your opponent previously used, you can can evade the attack without being harmed. You may be affected against some attacks but this may be more
effective than defending an attack in some cases. Use this dice when the situation calls for it. Ordinarily, Evade techniques consume far less Tsukara than other techniques.
Escape Dice: Roll the dice in response to any other dice or before any other dice. If the number rolled is above 10, then you are enabled the ability to leave the battle and forfeit the match during the turn the number was rolled. This cannot be saved for later so you can only use this Escape technique on the turn that it was rolled. Your character must actually have an Escape technique in order to use the Escape dice. If the Escape Dice is used and no technique is designated, your character is unable to escape.
Counter Dice: Roll the dice in response to an Attack Dice or Special Dice with Offensive benefits. If the Counter Dice value is higher than the number on the Attack or Special Dice, you can inflict damage equal to the attack power of your opponent's Attack and/or Special Ability. This varies based on the techniques. Used properly, this dice could clench the match for anyone using it regardless of the opponent.
Special Dice: Roll the dice in order to activate a designated technique. Depending on the technique, a variety of different things can occur. If the Special technique has an Offensive benefit, it can inflict damage and activate if the dice value is higher. If the technique has a Defensive benefit and has the higher dice value, your character can defend against any incoming technique and allow this dice's designated technique to activate. Supplementary techniques are usually activated immediately after the roll of the dice but another Special Dice with the proper effects can negate the technique. The best advice for using Special techniques is to experiment. Also, remember that Special techniques usually require more Tsukara than other techniques.
The basic method for battling isn't too difficult to comprehend. Each player uses a character that has their own sets of techniques, items, creatures, equipment, and weapons that will aid them. Players take turns rolling dice to perform different actions with their characters based on approved skills and other things that are equipped.
