Soul Slayer is a four foot blade that weighs about seventy-five pounds. The handle and the back of the blade are black while the actual blade is silver. The blade has a long red cartridge inside it that stores dark energy and if the cartridge is completely red that indicates that it can no longer absorb anymore dark energy. The blade also has a function that it can pop out and turn into the shape of a scythe.

Effects:
Soul Eater: This allows Ragna to absorb any form of dark energy from his opponents and turn it into pure energy that can restore Ragna's health or tsukara.

Black Zagal: This is Soul Slayer's scythe form. It can only be activated by releasing all of the blade's and Ragna's energy. This form maximizes the soul eater effect and if the technique, Black Onslaught, is 100% successfully performed in this form, all of Ragna's health is restored but his tsukara remains depleted.
