Name: Bartimaeus Winter
Gender: Male
Age: 17 (Stopped aging 387 years ago)
Race: Human (Panther Lycanthrope)
Alliance: Sentou Gakuin
Homeland:
Bartimaeus was born in Venice to a poor family who owned nothing but a two story brick building that was rat infested and crumbling. He lived along the Grand Canal and, due to his lack of revenue, did not travel much. That is, until he was cursed by a bite from a Lycanthropic Panther. Once he received that bite, he travelled to Rome and into the Vatican in order to get his curse lifted. Unfortunately, despite the pope's best efforts, Bartimaeus was not cured; the curse was too powerful, even for the pope and the entire college of cardinals. Bartimaeus then travelled to Brazil on a smuggling ship in order to stay away from everyone that he knew and loved- he didn't want to hurt them. There, while he lived alone in a forest, he met two witch doctors whom were adept at controlling lycanthropy as well as some types of magic. After living with them for 200 years (they were also lycanthropes), he travelled to Sentou Gakuin in order to make use of his skills...
Physical Description[Appearance]: Bartimaeus is rather tall, standing at a good 6'. He has long shaggy black hair which is tapered to a ponytail and hangs to the small of his back. He wears nothing but a pair of old, black, tattered shorts, considering he didn't need much else (nor could he afford it) while he lived in a forest for over three centuries. He also tore a small hole in the back of the shorts in order to accomidate his long black feline tail. His eyes are a queer red-orange which seem yellow near the pupil, and the pupil itself is slitted. He normally disconserts everyone around him because he never blinks, and so his strange eye-color and reflective pupils are hardly unnoticable. He is tone, but not grossly so; Bartimaeus made his body fit by chasing around preditors and outrunning leopards and cheetahs- due to his lycanthropic nature- as well as hunting with his bare hands. He learned to control his shift into his lycanthropic form and so his body is very malleable; if so inclined, he could shift all of his bones and organs to one point in his body. His arms, chest, legs, face, neck, stomach, and collar are all covered in scars because of the initial attack by a lycanthropic panther. He has one scar on his neck which bleeds constantly, although from some magic, perhaps from the curse, he never bleeds to death and the blood that flows from the wound disappears after it moves past the base of his neck. His panther form is a large and shaggy black panther whose shoulders would be level to that of a full grown man's head. His claws and teeth could rival any blade.
Ranking: Tsurabi
Personality: Bartimaeus is as quirky as his history is strange. He is extremely shy and is unaccostumed to being around humans, considering most of his immortal life was spent living with witch doctors in the middle of the Brazilian wilderness. He's always tense because he is afraid of losing control around people. However, he has an over-inflated sense of justice and cannot bear to see anyone hurt. He is in fact a pacifist; after killing some innocent bystanders in a bout of lycanthropy, he swore never to kill again if he could. He does have a strange attraction to blood, though, and if anyone in a few hundred yards is wounded he could smell it. He eats nothing but raw meat and the occasional mushroom, saying that he was a strict "meatitarian". He loves being scratched on the head and despises anything to do with beaches. That's not to say he doesn't like to party, however. If you get him in the right mood, he becomes the life of the party- that is, before he remembers that he's extremely shy around other people.
Warrior Class: Alchemist- Morpher, Ninja- Martial Artist
Elemental Affinity: Fire, Ice, gas, lightning
History/Background Story: Bartimaeus' mother died during childbirth, and so he never met his mother and his father always blamed him for her death, rather than the natural causes that were in fact the cause. As such, Bartimaeus was never cared for by anyone and, even though he still lived with his father, he spent most of his time on the streets, pickpocketing tourists for some revenue. Then, one day, he reached into the pocket of the wrong tourist; he was a strong spellcaster. The spellcaster caught Bartimaeus and in his fury marked the young 12 year old with a curse. He said, "Come the eve of your seventeenth year of breath, your breath and all you have ever cherished shall be taken from you." He didn't really know what to think, considering he didn't think much of magic, but the words of the spellcaster haunted him every night for the next five years. On his seventeenth birthday, he wandered the streets of Venice at night when he turned into an alley and was savagely attacked by a panther. He found the feline off, tooth and nail, but it was for naught; that was like fighting living steel. He cried out as the panther pierced his jugular vein and was heard by a gunner who had been walking by. The gunner, in a feat of intellect, strength, and wit fought the panther off and took the battered, bloody Bartimaeus back to his hotel room in Venice where he treated the boy's wounds and bandaged his neck. Bartimaeus thanked him profusely and was invited to stay for a few days until he recovered. Thinking that his father didn't care about him anyway, Bartimaeus agreed and stayed at the gunner's house for 4 days, becoming close friends with the man in the process. However, on the fifth night there was a full moon; Bartimaeus couldn't fight off the transformation and in a fit of bloodthirst, rage, and lycanthropy, he eviscerated and disembowled the gunner. When he awoke to find the man he had befriended dead and devoured, Bartimaeus jumped into the Grand Canal and tried to drown himself. Fortunately or unfortunately, the spellcaster had been correct; his breath was taken away. He found that he was no longer breathing and therefore could not drown. This being the case, Bartimaeus decided to go to Rome to see if the curse of Lycanthropy could be lifted. He was turned away when he found that the pope could not in fact reverse the affects of lycanthropy. Therefore, he fled on a smuggling ship to Brazil where he entered the wilderness and lived in seclusion for about 20 years, never aging, never changing, and ever vigilant. That is, until he met two witch doctors who taught him to control his lycanthropy as well as martial arts and even magic. After learning from his masters for 200 years, he went back to hone his talents by himself for another century before he caught wind of a certain school named Sentou Gakuin. He figured that he could pass on his teachings to students. So, he went to travel to the famed school and hoped that they would accept him.
RPing Sample: Bartimaeus' breath turned to fog in front of his face as he walked slowly across the bridge over a canal near his home. Well, he didn't consider it his home. No, he was no more welcome there than the mice in the cupboards. His ear twitched and he whipped around as he heard a light fluttering sound. Huh. Nothing there. Maybe the wind? He placed a hand on his trusty knife; never knew if there were any pickpockets or murderers around. Had to watch out for them. The streets of Venice were normally safe, but... He saw something out of the corner of his eye and his grip on the blade's handle grew tighter. His heart beat loudly in his chest. "Who's there?" Pft. Like he expected an answer. But, whatever, it was a natural human response, right? What he heard, on the other hand, was anything but human. Chills and fear shot up Bartimaeus' spine as he heard a deep throaty growl. He felt a presence behind him and the skin on the nape of his neck tingled. He turned, his knife held out before him, when the large panther leapt and knocked him onto the ground. His knife sank deep into the panther's flesh, so deep that Bartimaeus couldn't pull it out. He cried out in surprise and felt claws as sharp as blades sink into his arms. He struggled against the beast's terribe strength and weight, but it was to no avail. He shouted for help at the top of his lungs, hot blood from the multiple lacerations on his body pouring onto the ground. He began to grow dizzy as he was suffocated and torn to pieces at the same time. He heard the voice of the spellcaster in his mind as he felt razor sharp teeth pierce his neck. As Bartimaeus finllay lost consciousness, he heard a gunshot ring out...
Bartimaeus awoke to find himself in a rather plain room. He groaned as he tried to move. "Don't." He heard a voice at the foot of the bed. "Your wounds will reopen." He lifted his head an inch and looked at his savior, a gunner about as plain as the room he was in. The man smiled. "You were almost killed by that panther. Not quite sure how it got here though. Almost like magic..." The seventeen year old gave a short bark of a laugh. Thus began their short-lived friendship, for 4 days later was the coming of the full harvest moon. And the rest, as they say, is history...

Re: Hei
Er, question about the blood. Wouldn't Medina have just gotten it on her hood, neck, neckline? If it doesn't vanish regardless of which direction it leaves the neck, then its right about time for Medina to have a panic attack.

Hahahaha no it always vanishes as soon as it leaves contact with his neck, not to worry. If he tries to wipe it off, there won't be anything on the cloth he used to wipe it with.

Ok, just wanted to clarify before moving on. That would've been a panic attack ready to happen.
